Borough should start car cleanup with its own fire station property

Posted: Friday, July 02, 2004

I was delighted to read in last week's Clarion that the borough is concerned about all the junk cars littering the countryside. I wish them success in their effort to clean up this unsightly mess. I do suggest they start in their own yard. The K-Beach Fire Station has been home to a dozen or more junk cars and a yellow bus for more than a year. Polite suggestions to Central Emergency Services officials have produced excuses but no results.
