North Pole woman dies in Richardson Highway crash

ANCHORAGE (AP) _ A North Pole woman died following a traffic rollover on the Richardson Highway, Alaska State Troopers said Monday.
Juli Melissa Shale, 25, died at the scene of the single-vehicle crash, which occurred at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at mile 238 of the highway near Donnelly Dome.
Troopers said alcohol was believed to be a factor in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle, Jeffrey S. Hibnes of North Pole, was taken to Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage. The 26-year-old man was listed in critical condition Monday afternoon.
