ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Alaska State Troopers on Wednesday released the names of two of the six people who were killed in the weekend car crash near Fairbanks.

The two were identified as Christopher A. McFadin, 21, and Bruno J. Guglielmi, 24. Both were soldiers stationed at Fort Wainwright. The wives of the men survived the three-vehicle crash, which occurred Sunday at Mile 22 of Chena Hot Springs Road.

Troopers have not yet released the names of the four others who died in the wreck. Those four were riding in a 1986 Nissan pickup truck that crossed into oncoming traffic. The Nissan sideswiped a Ford pickup truck then hit McFadin's G-M-C pickup, DeSpain said.

No one in the Ford was hurt.

DeSpain said alcohol was a factor in the crash.
