Football camp starts Monday

The Kenai Peninsula Youth Football camp will be Monday through July 12. The cost of the camp is $50. The camp is open to all youth football players up to eighth grade. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Soldotna High School pool entrance. Contact Galen Brantley Jr. for more information at gbrantley@kpbsd.k12.ak.us or 398-8862.

Basketball camp registration opens

The Boys and Girls Club of the Kenai Peninsula is taking basketball camp registrations for children in the third through sixth grade. The boys camp is from Aug. 2 to 6, and the cost is $75 if paid by July 16. The girls camp runs from Aug. 9 to 13, and the cost is $75 if paid by July 23. The cost is $100 after the deadline.

Registrations are taken at the Kenai Rec Center. For questions, contact the athletic department at 283-3318.

Alliance tourney set for July 31

The Alliance Golf Tournament will be July 31 at Kenai Golf Course at 8 a.m. Signing up before July 9 saves $100. Online registration and more information are available at www.alaskaalliance.com.

Bill Miller tourney begins today

The Bill Miller Wood Bat Invitational begins today at Coral Seymour Memorial Park in Kenai.

Today's games are: Service vs. West Warwick, 1 p.m.; Kenai vs. Service, 4 p.m.; Wasilla vs. Kenai, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday's games are: Wasilla vs. West Warwick, 10 a.m.; Service vs. Wasilla, 12:30 p.m.; Kenai vs. West Warwick, 3 p.m. On Thursday, the third-place game will be at 10 a.m. The championship game will be at 1 p.m.
