Burdick, Hondel plan upcoming ceremony
Sara Kareen Burdick of Soldotna and Gary Joseph Hondel of Kenai have announced their plans to marry at 4 p.m. Aug. 11, 2001, at the Grace Evan-gelical Lutheran Church in Soldotna. The Rev. Thomas Schmidt will officiate.
The future bride is the daughter of Terri and Mark Burdick of Soldotna. She is a Soldotna High School graduate and received an associate of arts degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 1999. She is expected to graduate from Kenai Peninsula College in December with her bachelor of education degree.
The future groom is the son of Carol Skalicky of Minneapolis, Minn. He is a graduate of Robbinsdale Cooper High School in New Hope, Minn. He received an associate of arts degree from Kenai Peninsula College in 1998. He is employed as a radio announcer and a salesman for area stations.
