On the evening of June 14, our daughter had a bike accident on the bike path in front of Kentucky Fried Chicken. We would like to thank everyone who helped with her.
The first people who helped were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pritchard, by calling for help, then getting our home phone number and calling to let her mother know.
The next on scene were a gentleman from Anchor Point (you know who you are) and our school nurse Bekki Jackson. Once Bekki got to my daughter, Danielle James, she knew her and did not leave her side.
The EMS crew was Capt. Bill Furlong, engineer Tony Prior and firefighter Mark Anderson. Then came Trooper Brad Nelson (who kept me, the mother, calm), officer Kelly George and officer Mitch Langseth.
When we all arrived at the hospital emergency room, nurse Jennifer Lynn, R.N., and Dr. Robert Lidda were just as kind and caring.
We would just like to thank all of these wonderful people for all of their care and kindness.
We were very lucky Danielle had no serious injury. She had many bruises and scrapes and is healing great.
Children, please where your helmets.
