HOUSTON -- Helen Darling scored a career-high 18 points as the Cleveland Rockers beat Houston 63-53 in WNBA action on Sunday to end the Comets' seven-game home winning streak.
Darling was 6-of-8 from the floor, including 3-for-4 from 3-point range, for Cleveland, which remained in a tie for first place in the Eastern Conference.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Tari Phillips hit two free throws with four seconds remaining and finished with 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead New York past Indiana.
Phillips shot 11-of-15 from the field and snapped a 56-all tie by converting her only free throw attempts.

LOS ANGELES -- Minnesota's Katie Smith scored a WNBA-record 46 points, but Lisa Leslie scored 32 points to lead Los Angeles to its fifth straight victory.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Marie Ferdinand scored four of her 13 points in the final minute as Utah rallied past Portland.
Ferdinand hit a jumper with 31.8 seconds left and added a layup with four seconds remaining for the Starzz (7-8). Natalie Williams had 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Margo Dydek added 14 points and nine rebounds for Utah.
Jackie Stiles scored 18 points and Sylvia Crawley added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Fire (9-7).
