ANCHORAGE (AP) The University of Alaska Anchorage men's basketball team will return to the national spotlight in November when ESPN televises four games from the Great Alaska Shootout, including a first-round matchup between the Seawolves and Seton Hall.
The game will mark the third straight year UAA has played on national television and the first year tournament coverage will be carried entirely on ESPN2.
ESPN2 was launched in 1993 when ESPN decided there were too many sports for one network to handle.
Last year, three of the four televised Shootout games aired on ESPN2, including the championship game.
This will be the 19th straight year ESPN or ESPN2 has televised Shootout games.
