Reader willing to pay if man goes to court

What is the definition of "accident"? "An undesirable or unfortunate happening that occurs unintentionally and usually results in harm, injury, damage, or loss; casualty; mishap: automobile accidents" ( Unabridged (v 1.1)).

I hear the person who "accidently" started the fire at Caribou Hills has been cited, thereby opening him to the possibility of civil litigation. It seems to me that lots of people these days tend to blame their misfortune on others, have the attitude they've been wronged, and someone needs to pay.

By all the accounts that I read, the gentleman was sharpening a shovel to begin the process of digging to build a cabin. He was not filling a running 4-wheeler with fuel stored in a large cache or lighting a campfire in windy conditions.

When, not if, someone decides to exercise their civil rights and take him to court, that gentleman will have my $100 contribution toward his defense. Any like-minded neighbors out there?
