Reader feels privileged to volunteer time

Having had a father that served in World War II, also a Purple Heart recipient, and three brothers who served in the military as well, I found it a privilege and an honor to volunteer my time as a Kenai Elks member for the Wounded Warrior soldiers. I thank those who donated their goods and services and to those who cheered the float as it passed by in the Fourth of July parade.
