ANCHORAGE (AP) -- The Alaska Housing Finance Corp. is reporting that its home loan delinquency rate was 3.93 percent in May, down from 4.2 percent in April and 4.08 percent in May of last year.
The mobile home loan delinquency rate was 9.69 percent, down from 10.91 percent in April and 10.23 percent in May last year.
The state lending agency said it had 28,212 active loans in May, or 6 percent more than a year earlier.
The agency said it foreclosed on six loans in May, compared with four in April and two in May of last year.
