FAIRBANKS (AP) -- A Delta Junction teen-ager has been charged with sexually abusing six boys, including a 10-year-old at a church camp about two weeks ago.
Matthew McConchie Pease-Madore, 19, is charged with 15 felonies -- five counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor, six counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor, three counts of second-degree attempted sexual abuse and first-degree indecent exposure.
Delta Junction state troopers charged Pease-Madore with sexually abusing an 11-year-old boy, exposing himself to two boys, soliciting all five for sex and improperly touching or attempting to touch the boys in Delta Junction in January and March.
A separate case involves a 10-year-old boy that Pease-Madore allegedly sexually abused June 22 in a tent while the two were at a church camp at Harding Lake about 45 miles south of Fairbanks.
Delta Junction troopers were searching for Pease-Madore to arrest him when the June 22 incident took place, troopers said.
''We've been investigating this for some time now,'' said trooper Sgt. Gary Johnson. He would not say when troopers received the original report of sexual abuse.
Pease-Madore was arrested Saturday morning and arraigned Sunday. He is being held in the Fairbanks Correctional Center on separate $100,000 bonds.
