Kenai resident Arthur Paul Lariviere died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, at the Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna. He was 53.
Mr. Lariviere was born Sept. 1, 1947, in Amesbury, Mass. He completed high school and attended the Haverhill Trade School in 1965. He moved to Alaska in May of 1971 and lived in Anchorage and Kenai. Mr. Lariviere worked on the Alaska pipeline, as a commercial crab fisher, as a printer at Fort Richardson Post and as a fishing guide in Kenai.
He was preceded in death by his father, Romeo C. Lariviere.
Mr. Lariviere is survived by his children Kristen and Adam Lariviere, of Florida; his mother Lucille Lariviere, of Massachusetts; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Gloria Lariviere, of New Hampshire; and Richard L. and Dot Lariviere of New Hamphire, and sister Diane Hoover, of Massachusetts, and brother James J. Lariviere of Massachusetts.
Arrangements were made by the Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
