Kids offered market space
In response to public requests, Kenai’s Saturday Market is offering space to school-age youths who would like to sell their own goods at the market, next to the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center.
To help teach kids about entrepreneurship, a small vendor fee $10 or 10 percent of sales, whichever is less will be charged, and youths need to comply with federal, state and market regulations. Space is limited and will be awarded on first come, first served basis.
Youths should determine which Saturday they would like to reserve before calling Harold Piland at 283-1991.
