Kenai resident Heather Louise (Fleming) Mogg died Saturday, July 8, 2006, in Kenai. She was 23.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Kenai.

Mrs. Mogg was born May 19, 1983, in Palmer. She attended school in Anchorage and at the Career Academy. She had numerous employers, but recently began working at Era Aviation.

“Heather loved helping people. She made friends quickly and easily. She had tremendous dreams and high hopes for herself and her family. She had a deep love for her children and loved being a mom. She was especially close to her mom, dad, sister and brother.

“Heather had a wonderful sense of humor and could light up a room. She had spunk and a big desire to succeed. She loved animals, especially her horse, and was continually bringing home ‘family additions.’ Heather enjoyed going to the movies, being with family, friends and shopping,” her family said.

“Her family was an unconditional love for Heather and will miss her deeply. Her memory will always be with us.”

Mrs. Mogg was preceded in death by her grandparents, Georgia VanScotter, Dean and Blythe Fleming.

She is survived by her husband, Garry Mogg Jr. of Anchorage; sons, Jordon and Ayden Mogg of Kenai; parents, Dean and Retta Fleming Jr. of Kenai; sister, Stacy Andeway of Anchorage; brother, Brett Fleming of Kenai; grandparents, Gordon and Kathleen Van Scotter of Elk City, Idaho; nephew, Tristin Andeway of Anchorage; niece, Taylor Andeway of Anchorage; father-in-law, Garry Mogg Sr. of Anchorage; and uncles and aunts, Jeff and Donna Rokstad of Sandpoint, Idaho, Jerry and Molly Sauierbeer of Lenore, Idaho, Dave and Rhonda Ralph of Auburn, Wash., Ed VanScotter of Starbuck, Wash., and Dave VanScotter of Lewiston, Idaho; and numerous cousins.

Memorial donations may be sent to the family at 52430 Solar Ave., Kenai, AK 99611.

Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
