Anchorage resident Jaime Lee Ellis died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at his home. He was 30.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2007, at Anchorage Funeral Home, 1800 Dare Ave. Friends are encouraged to come share memories and spend time with his family.
Mr. Ellis was born Dec. 3, 1976, in Orlando, Fla. His family moved to Anchorage in 1993 and he graduated from high school there. He worked at a Holiday Gas Station and recently at Wal-Mart in Anchorage.
"Mr. Ellis was very interested in computers. He was a beloved son and devoted father who enjoyed taking care of his son," his family said.
Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Josephine and James Wilcox; and sister, Elizabeth Ellis.
He is survived by his wife, Bambi Ellis of Anchorage; son, Elijah Ellis of Anchorage; parents, Michael and Christine Ellis of Kenai; brothers, Scott Ellis of Kansas City, Kans, Nathaniel Davis of Camp Lejeune, N.C., Brandon, Joshua, Timothy, and Corey Ellis of Kenai; sisters, Amanda, Samantha, Cynthia, Stephanie, Courtney, Hannah and Naomi Ellis of Kenai; grandparents, Harvey and Lilah Ellis of Michigan; and aunts, Janet and Tessie Wilcox of Orlando, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Ellis family, 43845 Eagle Lake Drive, Kenai, AK 99611.
