Heidi Carlson and Ben Garry (not pictured) work last week to paint trim on the Kenai Elementary School building in Kenai. The structure houses Aurora Borealis Charter School, Kenai Alternative High School and the Boys and Girls Club. In addition to a new paint job, workers are also doing asbestos abatement, putting in a new carpet and creating a new parking lot.
