Warren A. "Art" Teel
Clam Gulch resident and former Nikiski resident Warren A. "Art" Teel died, Sunday, July 10, 2005, at Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna.
A celebration of Mr. Teel's life will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Clam Shell Lodge in Clam Gulch.
Mr. Teel was born Jan. 18, 1957, to Richard and Gloria Teel in Anaheim, Calif. He was raised in Southern California and came to Alaska in 1981 to go into the fishing industry. Mr. Teel worked as a commercial fisher and on crab boats. He also worked as a saw miller in Nikiski.
Mr. Teel served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1974.
"Many will miss him," his family said.
He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Teel; sisters, Judith Koelzer and Brenda Jackinsky; niece, Minday Dawson; nephews, Jeremy and Michael Dawson; father, Richard Teel; and mother Gloria Teel.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
