Drama troupe meeting set

Kyds Tyme, a Christian musical drama troupe, will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Mondays at St. Francis Episcopal Family Church of God in Kenai. For more information, call 283-1970.

Bible study group to meet

Nikiski Aglow meets at 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays at New Hope Fellowship at Mile 23 of the Kenai Spur Highway. It is open to area women.

Family nights continue

The Soldotna Church of God will host family nights from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays throughout the summer at the church at 105 W. Redoubt. Stories, games and crafts are some of the planned activities,

Clothes Quarters open

Clothes Quarters, in the back of the parking lot at 225 Spruce St. at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Kenai, will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday. For more information, call 283-4555.

Clothing available

Clothes 2 Go is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays in the basement of the Nikiski Inlet Faith Church on the corner of MaGahan and Marie. Items cost 25 cents and up.

Conference, concert planned

The Soldotna Church of God will host its annual Destiny Conference beginning Sunday through July 24 at the church at the corner of Binkley Street and Redoubt Avenue. The conference is a series of meetings designed to offer spiritual rejuvenation and fellowship. The theme is "This is Our Time" and will feature guest speakers Dr. David Bishop of Tennessee, grammy award wining gospel artist Sherman Andrus and Pastors Kevin and Milisa Goff of Arizona.

Weekday services will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Bible study led by Dr. David Bishop and the Serengeti Trek, a form of vacation Bible school for children ages 4 to 11.

Evening services begin at 7 Monday through Friday and at 6 Sundays. It is open to the public. There is no cost. Child care will be available for all services. For more information, call Pastor Alan Humphries at 262-4729.

On July 22 a gospel concert featuring Andrus and and Gospel recording artist Miriam Humphries will begin at 7 p.m. at the church. There is no fee.

Bible school slated

The North Kenai Chapel will host a vacation Bible school from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through July 22 at the church at Mile 29 of the Kenai Spur Highway. Stories, games, crafts and songs are some of the planned activities. Lunch will be provided.

Addictions group meeting planned

Reformers Unanimous, a national Christ-centered addictions program meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Fridays at the Immanuel Baptist Church. Also being offered is "Kids RU" a children's program that teaches children of Reformers Unanimous participants how to avoid addictions. For more information, call 283-9361.
