Football camp planned

The Kenai Peninsula Youth Football camp will be held at 9 a.m. Monday for youth up to ninth grade. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Soldotna High School pool side entrance. For more information, call 398-8862.

Referees meeting slated

Kenai Peninsula Football Officials Association will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Skyview High School. Community members interested in officiating high school or Pop Warner football are invited to attend. For more information, call 398-1396 or 398-7533.

Fair exhibit guides available

Kenai Peninsula State Fair exhibit guides are available at Cadre Feed, Trinity Greenhouse, University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Service Extension Office; Kasilof Mercantile; Anchor Point Greenhouse, Ninilchik Library, Ninilchik General Store, Homer Book Store, Wagon Wheel, Corner Stop, and the fairgrounds office. KPC council seeks members

Kenai Peninsula College is seeking interested community members to serve on its college council. The 15-member council serves as an advisory board to the college director and advocates for the interests of the college to the community and Legislature. Members serve three-year terms.

Available seats this coming academic year include two from the central peninsula and one from the southern peninsula. Those applying for the positions will be asked to attend the 6 p.m. Sept. 13 council meeting at the Kenai River Campus in Soldotna to discuss their qualifications with the council. Applicants may submit a letter of interest and resume by Aug. 17 to: College Director, Kenai Peninsula College, 34820 College Drive, Soldotna AK 99669. For more information, call 262-0318.

Classes set to reunite

· The Kenai Central High School class of 1977 will hold its 30-year reunion from 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Challenger Learning Center of Alaska in Kenai. The cost is $30 per person. For more information, call Kathy Kenner at 398-9319.

· Skyview High School class of 1997 will hold its 10-year reunion July 27-29. Events scheduled are: happy hour at Hooligans July 27 at 7 p.m.; dinner at Paradisos July 28 at 6 p.m.; and a family picnic at Soldotna Creek Park July 29 at noon. Everyone is invited to the picnic who attended Skyview, even if they did not graduate with the class. R.S.V.P. is required for the dinner and picnic. · Soldotna High School class of 1997 is planning a class reunion for July 27-29 at Kenai Landing. Class members are sought for updates on how they have spent the past 10 years.
