The Alaska Sprint Tour rolled into Twin City Raceway in Kenai Friday, and several area drivers turned in solid performances on the three-eighths mile dirt track.
The Alaska Sprint Tour showcases open-wheeled, winged sprint cars from all over Alaska.
Elton McGahan of Nikiski won Friday's Main Event in the 410 division after finishing third in the Gold Rush Dash, sixth in Heat 1 and third in Heat 2.
Jackie McGahan of Kenai was second in the Gold Rush Dash, fifth in Heat 1 and fifth in the Main Event. Randy Barnes of Kenai raced in Heat 1 and Heat 2, finishing fourth in each race.
John McDonald of Anchorage and Robert Hansen of Wasilla battled for the top two positions all night, with McDonald taking the Gold Rush Dash and Heat 2 and Hansen prevailing to win Heat 1.
Hansen was second to McGahan in the Main Event.
Bob Erdman of Wasilla and Bill Balog of Fairbanks traded wins in the 360 division.
