Keeper to celebrate

Cook Inlet Keeper will host a 10th anniversary celebration from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Homer Elks Lodge. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be the featured guest. The evening's activities will include a fresh fish barbecue, Kachemak Bay oysters, a traditional Native dance performance and live music by Three-Legged Mule.

CPHC board to meet

The Central Peninsula Health Centers Inc. board of directors will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the Salamatof Center, 150 N. Willow St. in Kenai. It is open to the public. For more information, call 335-2022 or e-mail

Toddler hour set

Toddler hour for children ages 5 and under is available from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays at the Kenai Recreation Center. There is no fee. Parents are required to stay with their children.

CPHC expansion to be discussed

Central Peninsula Health Centers Inc. will host a public meeting from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Soldotna Sports Center. The topic will be its need to expand and the design of its new building. For more information, call 335-2022.

Israel alliance seminar set

The Messianic Israel Alliance will present "Let Israel Arise! The Restoration of All Things" at 7 p.m. Friday and at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Refuge Chapel at 1562 Homer Spit Road.

On Friday, Erev Shabbat, praise, worship, dancing and teaching are some of the planned activities. On Saturday there will be Torah study, praise, worship, dancing, teachings and a potluck lunch (kosher foods only — chicken, turkey, beef, moose, venison, salmon or halibut are requested). The group will disperse for the evening meal and return at 7 p.m. to the chapel to continue the outreach.
