Man pleads innocent in sex case

FAIRBANKS (AP) -- A 19-year-old Delta Junction man has pleaded innocent to charges he sexually assaulted several young boys.

Matthew Pease-Madore was arraigned on the charges Monday in Fairbanks Superior Court.

Alaska State Troopers arrested Pease-Madore in Delta Junction July 7. He faces 11 counts of sexual abuse of a minor, along with charges of indecent exposure and attempted sexual abuse.

Police say Pease-Madore preyed on six boys, some as young as 10 years old, as recently as June 22.

Pease-Madore was being held at the Fairbanks Correctional Center on $100,000 bond for each of his criminal cases. His trial is set for Oct. 8.
