Low-cost helmets available

Nutrition classes scheduled
The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank will hold nutrition classes titled Eating Right is Basic. Classes meet at 3 p.m. every Monday through Aug. 30 at the food bank. Colleen Deal will instruct. Classes will focus on processing natural Alaska resources, such as wild game, berries and salmon. The class objective is how to meet dietary needs and lose weight at the same time. Neighborhood Watch meeting planned

Campground construction slated
Construction work on the Chugach National Forest Trail River Campground will begin Thursday and continue through next summer. Campground improvements will include new sites, and facilities will be accessible to those with disabilities.

KCHS plans reunions
The Kenai High School Class of 1964 will celebrate its 40-year reunion July 30, 31 and Aug. 1 on the Kenai Peninsula.
