Police are still seeking any information involving the destruction of a stolen car that occurred on May 30.
Around 5:30 a.m. police responded to a call that a vehicle was on fire just off of Kalifornsky Beach Road, according to Sgt. Duane Kant of the Soldotna Police Department. The vehicle, a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo, was stolen from the parking lot of C&M Muffler in Soldotna. The car was dropped off the previous night and maintenance work was to be done in the morning, said Kant.
"The vehicle was a total loss," said Kant. Police are still investigating the cause of the fire.
