Strong quake felt in Kodiak

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A strong earthquake centered 90 miles south of Kodiak was felt on the island Thursday morning.

The West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center gave a preliminary estimate of the quake at magnitude 6.3.

The quake was recorded at 10:01 a.m.
