The Kenai Central High School pool's hours will be from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Monday through Friday -- lap swim; 8 to 9 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday -- swim workout for swim team or adults ($35 for a punch card or $4 a day); and from 1 to 2:45 p.m. Monday and Friday -- open swim.
Swim lesson times are 9 to 9:40 a.m., 9:45 to 10:25 a.m., 10:30 to 11:10 a.m., 11:15 to 11:55 a.m., noon to 12:30 p.m. (3 and 4 year olds) and private lessons 3 to 3:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 4 p.m.

The Challenger Learning Center of Alaska is offering the following camps:
* Young Astronaut Day Camps are hands-on, interactive science camps for youth ages 6 through 9 throughout the summer. Day camp is offered Tuesdays from 1 to 3 p.m. and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon through Aug. 13.

Soldotna Senior Citizens Center will host a bazaar, bake sale and quilt show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the center. There will be a selection of crafts, baked goods and quilts. Lunch will be available.
