Amy Leigh Spragg and Paul Nathan Begins were married in an afternoon ceremony Saturday, June 6, 2009, in the beautiful outdoor setting of Whisper-N-Oaks in Junction City, Ore. Manon Veilleux, the bride's aunt, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Richard Spragg of Plano, Texas, and Leslie Spragg of Vancouver, Wash. She graduated from Oregon State University and is employed as an assistant childcare director in Vancouver. She wore an elegant flowing winter white gown with a slim band of beading across the bodice and she carried a bouquet of Calla lilies, freesia and seashells. The bride's attendants wore cornflower blue gowns and carried a trio of Calla lilies.
The bride was attended by her friends Stephanie Daniel, matron of honor, Katie Davis, maid of honor, Julia Rhodes and bridesmaids, who included Michelle Dickinson, and cousins of the bride Kelly Cuccurullo and Stacey Lamarca. The flower girls were Kekai Schultz and Melia Cain.
The groom is the son of Ron and Lil Begins of Kasilof. He graduated from Oregon State University, is employed in Portland, and is an inventor. He is a 2000 graduate of Skyview High School. Paul and his attendants were attired in ivory silk jacquard shirts and khakis. The groom's brother, Scott Begins, served as best man. Other groomsmen were friends of the groom, Devin Koepl, Mike Kingsella and Chris Rhodes.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., and reside in Vancouver.
