BP Alaska president Campbell to retire

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Richard Campbell, president of BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc., has announced his retirement. Campbell will step down at the end of September.

Steve Marshall, currently the company's regional president for BP Scotland, will take over the top Alaska job.

Campbell has been with BP for 32 years and has served as president of BP Exploration (Alaska) for four years.

BP spokesman Ronnie Chappell said Campbell and his wife plan to move to his wife's hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia, where their two daughters are currently attending college.
