ANCHORAGE (AP) -- General Communication Inc. expects a profit of $200,000 on $85.5 million in revenue when it reports its second-quarter earnings Aug. 8, the company said Thursday.
The Anchorage-based telecom company said that compares with a loss of $3.5 million on $71.4 million for the same three months last year.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization for the second quarter should total $22.1 million, up from $16.1 million in the same period last year.
The company's stock, traded on the Nasdaq market, closed at $12.02 a share Thursday, up 2 cents for the day.
