The American Legion Post 20 Twins baseball team posted a sweep of Service Saturday in Anchorage.
The Twins ground out an 11-inning, 5-4 win in the first game, and came back to shorten the second game with the 10-run rule, notching a 16-4 win.
Danny Bookey used 120 pitches in throwing all 11 innings for the Twins in game one.
The Twins scored the go-ahead run in the top of the 11th inning when Eric Newby led off with a single, advanced on a single by David Newby and scored on a single by Aaron Hughes.
Bookey retired the side in order in the bottom of the 11th to notch the win.
The Twins scored a run in the fourth inning when Kyle Foster reached on a single, advanced on a sacrifice bunt by J.D. Pault and scored on a single by Ely Evanson.
Post 20 plated three more in the fifth when Eric Newby and David Newby hit back-to-back doubles with one out. Hughes followed with a single and Pault drove in the final run of the inning with a single.
The Twins put the second game away early with a seven-run first inning. Post 20 added a run in the third, two more in the fourth and ended things early with their six-run fifth inning.
Eric Newby had four hits, two RBI and two runs scored in the game while Foster finished with three hits, an RBI and two runs. David Newby had three RBI.
