Friends appreciate the help

The Friends of Kenai Community Library continue their efforts to raise funds to supplement programs and materials, and the building expansion for the Kenai Community Library. Such efforts include the annual book sale, a fundraising dance, the High Tea and the annual dinner raffle Oct 23 and 24 at the Eagles Club in Kenai.

Among the recent events were a booth at the Kenai River Festival and the Fourth of July at which books and candy were sold. Thanks to the following individuals for helping with these projects by manning the booths, storytelling and assisting with the setup and take down of the tent and materials: Craig Jung, Kari Mohn, Tom Walker, Mary Armstrong, Bill and Melanie Switzer, Alexis Kiel, Jesse Pedginski, Carol Brenckle, Gwen Klawunder, Heather Floyd, Harriet Seibert, Sal and Kathy Mattero, Cliff and Kathy Heus, Bob Peters, Nedra Evenson and Vicki JohnstonFreese.

Thanks also to the many individuals who purchased books and candy and continue to support the Friends of the Kenai Community Library.
