Kenai resident Brody Elvis Brumley, 95, died July 13, 2010, of natural causes.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Brumley was born Dec. 14, 1914, in Russleville, Ken., to Roy Brumley and Nanny Farmer. He worked in the wood products industry in Eugene, Ore., where he retired in 1978. He worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps (Three Cs) in Arizona during the depression.
"Brody was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to visit his sons and their families and spent time on the Kenai Peninsula almost every summer since 1982," his family said.
He is survived by brother, Stanley Brumley of Redding, Calif.; sons, Boyd Lee Brumley of Eugene, Roy Lynn Brumley of Austin, Texas, and Gary Doyle Brumley of Kenai; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
