Sports Brief: Goldpanners, Miners share ABL lead

With a 9-4 win over the Mat-Su Miners (23-9) on Tuesday, the Alaska Goldpanners of Fairbanks (24-10) now share the lead in the Alaska Baseball League. The second-place Peninsula Oilers (25-12) are a half a game back. The Panners and Miners were to play a doubleheader at Fairbanks on Wednesday but it was postponed due to rain. The two will play a doubleheader today. The first game begins at 5 p.m.
