Right impression, wrong handling

Your article "Angler monster king free" disturbed me greatly. I was under the impression there was a law against removing large fish from the water if you intend to release it. If there is not, common sense should tell not to lift a large fish in the manner shown before releasing it.
Of course, this is only my opinion and, after a call to Fish and Game, apparently from the calls they have received, other people agree.
