Second man arrested for giving alcohol to teens involved in fatal crash

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A second man was charged Tuesday with providing alcohol to the teens involved in a fatal head-on collision on the Glenn Highway.

Anchorage police said Michael R. Hunter, 31, of Anchorage has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of minors and two counts of furnishing alcohol to minors. He was ordered to appear in district court on Aug. 28.

Hunter allegedly purchased alcohol for teens who attended a party prior to the accident. The July 9 accident killed three teens and police officer Justin Wollam.

On July 13, Ronald Frank, 30, of Anchorage was charged with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and five counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor for providing alcohol at the same party.
