Class of '88 gives thanks

Posted: Friday, July 25, 2008

I would like to express my gratitude to several sponsors that donated to the 20th reunion of the Kenai Central High School class of 1988. They are Pollard Wireline and an individual who wishes to remain anonymous. Without their generous donation, I would not have been able to make the reunion memorable.

Thank you to Richard Best, who not only designed and ordered T-shirts for the reunion, but he also donated any additional proceeds from the shirt sales to the reunion fund.

I would also like to thank Denaya DeVolld, Rob Ross, Pauline Munson, Shandalyn DeVolld (daughter of Denaya) and Victoria Silk (my daughter) for all of their help in planning and decorating for the reunion.

Thank you to the former administrator and teachers who attended the picnic, they are Hal Smalley (who cooked), Jack Castimore, Richard Hultberg and Dwayne Craig. It was a pleasure to have them attend not to mention every classmate and their families who attended.

Thank you all for helping make the KCHS class of '88 20th reunion a memorable one. I look forward to the 25th reunion in July 2013.

Tonya (Gillies) Silk
