PCC to celebrate progress

Peninsula Christian Center, behind The Salvation Army store on the Kenai Spur Highway in Soldotna, will celebrate Progress Days with a illustrated sermon, special music from guest Joel Kopp and a fish fry.

The illustrated sermon is based on a Hungarian emigrant who road his bike out of eastern Europe in the 1950s. The painting by local artist Dennis Johns, features a 1950s garage complete with a late 1940s Ford pick-up. The illustrated service will be held at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Following the 10:30 service, a fish fry potluck and pie auction will be held. It is open to the public and RV parking is available. For more information, e-mail James Duncan at pencc@alaska.net.
