Edelman, Brown announce nuptials

Erika Lynn Edelman, of Lafayette, La., formerly of Nikiski, and Rickey James Brown Jr., of Kaplan, La., plan to marry April 17, 2010, at Houmas House in Darrow, La.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Norman and Melissa Edelman, of Kapolei, Hawaii. Erika is a senior at the University of Louisiana, working on a secondary social studies education degree.
The future groom is the son of Rickey and Donna Brown, of Kaplan. Rickey is a graduate of Kaplan High School and is employed as an electrician at Omega NatchiqSorr.
