1964 -- A community meeting at Soldotna Elementary School expresses a need for a hospital.
1966 -- Groundbreaking ceremony is held at the site of the present hospital.
1967 -- Hospital auxiliary holds its first meeting.
1969 -- Hospital becomes property of Kenai Peninsula Borough.
June 21, 1971 -- First patient admitted and first baby delivered.
1981-- Phase One expansion; a new emergency room, X-ray and lab facilities.
1983 -- Phase Two expanded surgery and obstetrics.
1986 -- Phase Three involves the Family Recovery Center and emergency addition.
1990 -- CT scanner added to hospital services.
1991 -- Hospital celebrates its 20th anniversary.
1999 -- Physical Medicine opens satellite clinic in Kenai.
2000 -- Groundbreaking for Kenai Health Center co-locating public health and CPGH services.
2001 -- Serenity House opens a site on the bluff off Kalifornsky Beach Road for a residential chemical dependency treatment.
2001 -- Hospital marks its 30th anniversary.
