The Central Peninsula Girl Scouts would like to thank Hutchings Chevrolet for the use of their tents, Bridges Community Resource Network for lending us their tables, and the Peninsula Clarion for including our day camp in their Kids Camp.

We want to express our thanks the following for donations to our camp this summer: Home Depot, Spenard Builders Supply, Soldotna Safeway Floral, Sedona Florist, Frito Lays, Kathleen Frame and the Sterling Senior Center.

Our appreciation goes out to AmeriCorps members Patty Mullin and Connie Ferguson for volunteering their time at camp, Mr. Bob for cutting all the wood for our projects, and to our Studio2B girls — Dallas, Denali, Emily, Kaylee, Liz and Makayla — for helping with projects with the younger girls, and special thanks to Makayla for creating and teaching us a dance.

My special gratitude goes out the leaders who planned, organized and put on this event — Catrina Warfield, Laura Goldthwaite, Suzanne Martin, Barb Shipps, Venita Walker (our photographer) and Joyce Cox, Girl Scouts field rep.
