Barrel Horse Association holds event

The area district of the National Barrel Horse Association had 32 members compete in barrel racing and 20 members compete in pole bending on Wednesday at the Soldotna Rodeo Grounds. Members compete weekly for prize money and points toward year-end awards. This week, there was a payout of $753. There is no charge for spectators to watch the races every Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Soldotna Rodeo Grounds.
