Dexheimer in 3rd at King Crab

Pro Aaron Dexheimer, who learned how to play his golf on the central Kenai Peninsula, fired a round of 3-under 72 on Thursday at Settlers Bay Golf Course in Wasilla to sit in third place at the $25,000 AMI/Lakeview King Crab Classic.

Tanglewood Lakes Golf Course pro Billy Bomar leads the field with a 67, while Seattle's Scott Taylor, who plays on the Asian pro tour, carded a 68. Birch Ridge Golf Course assistant pro Bill Engberg is tied for eighth with his round of 73.

The tournament will continue Friday and Saturday at Palmer Golf Course.
