Homer resident Drew Scalzi died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle following a long battle with cancer. He was 53.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at the Seafarers Memorial in Homer.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be sent to the Seafarers Memorial.
