ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Anchorage police continued to search Sunday for a man wanted in connection with the murder of a man outside an Eagle River home over the weekend.
Police have charged Gabriel Leon, 23, with first-degree murder in the death of Leneal Waters, 31, killed early Saturday. Waters was shot several times, including once in the head.
Several people in the house told police they heard Waters having a loud argument with another man before the shots were fired about 5:15 a.m.
The home were the shooting occurred belongs to the parents of a woman who was divorced from Leon and was Waters' ex-girlfriend, police said.
Leon allegedly fled in a white car with tan top that later was found by police.
