ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A man sought in an Eagle River shooting death has been arrested by Anchorage police.
Gabriel Leon, 23, was arrested inside a hotel room near Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday.
He was being held on $250,000 bail.
Leon is suspected of killing Leneal Waters, 31, outside an Eagle River home early Saturday. Waters was shot several times, including once in the head.
Police say the shooting took place outside of the home of the parents of Waters' ex-girlfriend, a woman who had been married to Leon.
An arrest warrant charging Leon with first-degree murder was issued Saturday.
