Boys and Girls Club deadline looms

Safe Sitter course offered
Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna will hold Safe Sitter courses from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 9 and 10 at the hospital. Participants must be at least 11 years old at the time of class and must preregister.

Library book sale a real page turner
The Friends of the Kenai Community Library will hold its annual book sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 10 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 11 in the old Kenai courthouse next to the library.
