Earthquake rattles Kenai Peninsula

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake shook the Kenai Peninsula at 2:39 p.m. Thursday.

According to the Earthquake Information Center at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Geophysical Institute, the quake was centered about 38 miles south of Soldotna at a depth of 26 miles.
