ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Searchers on Tuesday located the body of a western Alaska man missing for more than two weeks.

Searchers located the body of Frank Commack at about 1:30 p.m. in the Kobuk River near the Black River.

Commack's boat was located in the Kobuk in the same area July 20. The boat was driving in circles but was unoccupied.

Alaska State Troopers said the state medical examiner will release the body to Commack's next of kin if the investigation shows no foul play was involved.
