Racing Lions hold motocross event

The Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions - Motocross Division held a city race on July 22. The results follow:

125 intermediate — 1. Daniel Maciariello; 2. Dylan Hendricks; 3. Logan Rosing; 4. Scott Stanford.

125 novice — 1. Myles Ridling; 2. Markus Quint; 3. Robby Brymer; 4. Kegan Emery; 5. Truckee Lemay.

250 novice — 1. Myles Ridling; 2. Dan Ravin.

50 cc — 1. Titan Farrell; 2. Ryder Pietro.

65 cc — 1. Andrew Turner; 2. Cole Crandall; 3. Dalton Davis; 4. Olivia Farrell; 5. Zachary Turvin.

85 expert — 1. Dylan Hendricks; 2. Daniel Maciariello.

85 intermediate — 1. Neil Marion; 2. Joshua Szymanski.

Twins set to open play at state

The American Legion Twins open play at the state tournament in Anchorage today against Dimond with a game at 3:30 p.m.

Other games at state are East vs. Fairbanks at 9 a.m., West vs. Bartlett at 12:30 p.m. and Chugiak vs. Service at 7:30 p.m.
